Best Mediterranean food on Detroit’s east side and always my first stop for food when I visit my family here. Tonight I’m eating a schwarma sandwich and grape leaves. So delicious.
This large house salad is so delicious that I had to stop myself from eating it. I was craving it every day and didn’t want to grow tired of it. Cleopatra is the best Middle Eastern restaurant around. The veggies are crisp and fresh every time. My salad and fresh-squeezed juice keeps my skin glowing and eyes bright.
The food was delicious, it was very fresh, appealing to the eyes! The atmosphere was awesome, I felt I was back in Egypt!

It's been about three years since I ate at Cleopatra but the food and service was just as good as I remembered!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. The complimentary bread that accompanied the garlic sauce we had to start was served fresh and fluffy. The actual entrées were delicious and the server was patient at every point. I will definitely be visiting more going forward!!
This place is absolutely amazing! Their shawarma is REAL unlike these other “Mediterranean” spots. The ambiance inside is amazing from the music to the Egyptian decor. THE best strawberry Dubai cups and yummy cobra carrot 🥕 drink it’s delicious.

This place is the best Mediterranean food around. Hot fresh pita bread. Fresh squeezed juices. All the food is amazing. The garlic dip is the best i have had. Very reasonable prices, kids ate free. Kind and attentive staff
Wow, I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Food is AMAZING, such a hidden gem in GP!!! We got the hummus plate with lamb & veggies, and shawarma combo, both are delicious! LOVE LOVE the bread, they’re freshly baked in the stone oven behind the counter, absolutely delicious! Also, really enjoyed the $6 & $8 wine, very good wine for the price! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Amazing. Best meal I have had in a while. How could I have missed this place for so long? Authentic flavors and awesome choices from Egypt and the surrounding region. Our host was knowledgeable and friendly and we felt like Egyptian royalty ourselves. One thing to beware of is the portions - you get a lot of food! I think my favorite thing was bread and garlic served to us right away!
